It’s pretty amazing actually. I took a bottle to the local hangout and everyone there loved it. The Fire Roasted Garlic Habanero and Ghost Pepper Wing Sauce are also very good.
Drawsfoodpoorly
I threw a big bottle away.

If you’re a fan of strong mushrooms, you’ll dig it. I’m a big fan of it. Great on a burger, not much heat though.

This one was super weird for me, I thought it was kind of gross when I tasted it by itself. But there actually were certain foods that I added it to that I thought the flavors worked really well with. Definitely not one that you will be adding to everything though so a small bottle is probably the way to go for this one.
Moondoobious
I put it in potato soup. I haven’t found another use for it.
sudo_meh
I didn’t like this at all, none of my friends did either.
Ashamed_Cell_7562
Update. Tried it on a crescent roll (only like bland thing i had that i could try it on to taste it). It was pretty good, more of a condiment really. Garlicky and herby, I enjoyed it but it’s not spicy at all. Solid 3/10 as a hot sauce.

Any time I see this stuff posted here I know the comments are about to be all saying how trash it is.
Much_Grand_8558
I love it, but I’m told I have weird tastes.

After reading all the comments here, I have to agree with all of them. For me it depends on my mood. I have bought the stuff several times and used it all up…..but, some days I didnt even want to think about it because it is very earthy (can be nasty earthy) other days I craved it for the same reason. As someone else said. It is a very polarizing sauce.
Jaded_Helicopter_376
Dude I ruined some steaks with this like an idiot!!!!! I marinaded them in it and they were disgusting!!!!!!!!
IZZO79
I’ve tried it. It’s not bad with definitely an original taste.

I love Melinda’s, but wasn’t a big fan of this one. Rather have the Scorpion or Roasted Garlic
International_Fly608
I’m a huge fan of this one. Great on roasted chicken. Had it in a chicken cacciatore I made as well.
QueenAzshara
I didn’t like it all

Only Melinda’s sauce i don’t like. Their ghost pepper wing sauce is a staple around here

Horrible. The worst of theirs by far

My partner fuckin loves it. I don’t as much. Very mushroomy
skeletons_asshole
I’ve heard it’s good on proteins if you are into the sort of taste it has. Personally I’d rather lick postage stamps for a meal than taste this again.
KingxRaizen
Yeah it’s tasty. 8/10 imo
Their ghost pepper sauce is like 9.5/10

I love it, one of my go to sauces but a lot of people seem to not like it

This is a very love it or hate it sauce 😆

I think it’s terrible. I always pull out this story as proof:
Our office manager bought it for our office. An office of 50 different people of all ages, ethnicities, tastes, dietary restrictions etc. Some people like spicy and some people don’t. Well we never finished the bottle. I tried it on at least 5 different dishes, it never improved any dish. It is a sad substitute for dipping. Sad substitute for anything. The bottle is like 3 years old now in the fridge
For comparison, we have office ketchup, office sriracha, Tabasco, soy sauce, we cycle through those all the time

The ghost pepper wing sauce from Melinda’s is a solid 8/10 though. It’s a staple in my house.

I did not like it at all. No heat and a weird flavor. I used it twice and trashed it.
Dark_Flatus
I can drink this stuff straight. Its my favorite. Although I think the general consensus is that its bad. More for me.
HighSolstice
I didn’t like it at all but my sister did so I gave the rest of the bottle to her.
GpRex
About every 3 months I try it again just to see if it’s actually not that bad. Just to remind me how awful it is. It belongs in the trash.
The_cursed_yeet
I love it. They have a hotter one with ghost pepper that’s extra good. It’s great on burgers, pasta, and pizza.
Dudejax
My favorite.

My wife loves it. I’m kinda meh about it. She likes it on pizza crust

I seriously hate throwing food away or wasting anything consumable. I bought this horseshit last year and it’s still on the top row of my fridge door, I leave it there as a reminder to look into things before purchase if/when possible.

It’s really amazing how polarizing this sauce is.
Something about its flavor profile, people either like it, love it or absolutely despise it like they were just tricked into licking a used diaper.
I have one of these tiny bottles but I haven’t got around to trying it I’m slowly going thru the whole Melinda’s tiny bottle tour, can’t wait to try it and see what it’s like for me.

It’s genuinely one of the worst things I have ever tasted, which is crazy because their Fire Roasted Garlic & Habanero is absolutely delicious (#2 to Marie Sharp’s Belizean Heat though).
It’s not even worth the one dollar asking price for a sample bottle, it went straight into the trash after one taste.
